But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. Since this refrigerator costs a premium, I expect better.

Other than that, this fridge is a great choice. It features a large freezer compartment that is not common for counter-depth French-door fridges. It also holds a lot of frozen food items compared to other models.

The fridge is equipped with 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is standard for a French-door refrigerator at this price. It has a decent-sized refrigerator with an ice maker in the left door. But, it's not the largest one I've seen.

You can adjust the shelves in each compartment to create a custom storage setup for what you want to keep. The GE PYE22PYNFS's interior design is attractive, too. Its LED lighting is a nice touch and the storage bins come with a third shelf that can fold down to allow you to store tall items. The drawers come with temperature controls so that you can set them for Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. The drawers are simple to shut and open, but I found the textured plastic coatings a bit hard on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the full suite of features you'd expect from a refrigerator at this price with Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices allows you to control your fridge from anywhere in the world, and has a ton of customization options. It also gives you notifications when doors are left open, when the fridge or freezer needs defrosting and when it's time to change the filter.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill it's an option in a handful of other GE refrigerators that allows you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to dispense at once. It does offer an indicator on the fridge's display to display how much water have left, but it's not as useful as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a stunning piece of equipment. It's designed to look like it's a seamless component of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also features a veggie compartment that keeps fruits and vegetables fresher for longer and two compressors for preserving food. The Ice maker is among the best we've ever tested, and it produces a pyramid-shaped form of Ice with low water usage. This refrigerator is ideal for a single household or kitchenette that needs an elegant design and top of the highest quality food preservation.

This fridge was rated as the best in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. Its freezer temperatures remained constant at just above 0°F and never fluctuated by more than a fraction, this is crucial to prevent freezer burn. The fridge section of the refrigerator also did well. It reached the initial temperature set within an hour and remained at that temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch is known for its top-quality appliances. Therefore, it's no surprise that the Bosch counter depth fridge can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's Home Connect. This app lets you monitor and control your fridge remotely from your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is expensive and has great features and functions at a reasonable cost.

It is crucial to be aware of the limitations of the fridge. You may need to get creative with tall items because the fridge is limited in shelf space. Additionally the shelves aren't sprillproof and can be easily damaged or stained by sharp objects. It's simple to remove the trays from the fridge, but be sure to clean them regularly to prevent the growth of mold.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S is a great counter-depth refrigerator that packs a lot of storage into the frame's compact size. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge features a standard French door design, with two rows of spill-capture shelving and a set crisper drawers. The top right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more room. You'll also find a full-width drawer for deli and an inside water dispenser.

One of the best things about this refrigerator is that the ice maker is in the freezer, making it simple to move frozen ice to the fridge to be used when it is required. The freezer also comes with innovative design features such as sliding drawers that can help you organize your items. It also has a huge bin that can hold plenty of frozen food and an ice storage bin.

Smart InstaView panel is another awesome feature of the refrigerator. You can control the temperature, lighting and other aspects of your fridge using your smartphone. It's a good way to control and monitor your refrigerator, especially if you're away from home.

The doors are a different issue with this fridge. The handles that are sunken let shorter people open them from the bottom. However taller people will have a difficult time closing them without slamming them. It would have been much better if they had front-mounted handle.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is a great choice for those looking to blend the look of a French door refrigerator with more efficient design. Its capacity is higher than average for a counter-depth model and it cools well and has a nice layout. It's also a bit less than the top counter-depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which helps make it a popular choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for an French door fridge that doesn't cost a fortune and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a good choice. It has a simple design that isn't as striking in appearance as some of the competition however it comes with enough features to make it a good pick. Its main characteristic is the adjustable temperature drawer, which helps keep foods like veggies and meat fresher for longer. It also has a large water dispenser, as well as an excellent Ice machine that is fast.
